I've installed the Descartes plugin however when I use a MS Excel VBA project which references the V8i object library and uses the OpenDesignFile method, I find the Descartes popup loading when a DGN file is being opened and this always results in a 'MicroStation Stopped Working' error dialog. I've ran a level 5 debug and also had a good look at C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\MicroStation\config\appl\dcartes.cfg however nothing appears immediately obvious how to disable it automatically loading. My concern editing this file is that manually loading the dcartes.ma may no longer work. Is there a simple line to be commented out in a specific config file that will stop it loading automatically?
