Product(s): MicroStation Version(s): 08.11.09.459 Environment: N\A Area: Raster Subarea: N\A Problem I have a roadway model in which border, alignment, and various references are displayed. To display more details on each cut sheet, I copied the set of references for the roadway (roadway, aerial, and alignment DGNs) and moved them to the lower half of the sheet. After performing this action successfully, I have been unable to open any of these files unless the raster display toggle is turned off. Solution The WMS raster image stream was referenced in multiple attachments at various nesting depths. Changing the source of the raster to one attachment and toggling the raster images to display only when printing greatly improved his performance within the affected DGN. WMS use a web connection and sometime this connection can be "cut" or lost. When a zoom or pan is done the WMS image data is read from the WMS server. When the WMS image is attached in multiple reference files then it causes a conflict because Raster Manager is trying to do multiple reads of the WMS data from the WMS server. The WMS image should only be attached in one DGN file.
