The main issue is that when 3mx is attached it changes DGN global origin(key-in GO=) to the one in 3mx file which is unexpected behaviour. Even worse it changes GO also if try to attach but cancel attachement. It is very easy to corrupt DGN coordinates as changing GO changes existing DGN element coordinates without warning as it is for example if changing units resolution. There should be option similar to reference attachment mode Coincindent-world so it doesn't change local file global origin or at least warn that reality attachment corrupts DGN coordinates(mrmesh attach). There is no easy way how to reset global origin back to design center without using fancy key-ins. https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/8856/global-origins https://communities.bentley.com/communities/other_communities/askinga/w/askinga/1215/understanding-the-global-origin https://communities.bentley.com/products/microstation/w/microstation__wiki/17158/how-to-change-the-global-origin-in-microstation-v8i-in-a-2d-file
