Forum Post: Newest versions of ContextCapture/Descartes/CC Editor Causing strange tiling in image export

Hello, I'm writing as I am having difficulties with getting images like the ones I produced in similar fashion before the latest Descartes/Context Capture/CC Editor versions came out. There seems to be an awful level of tiling that makes for a fractured point cloud (see image for areas with no data or black separation lines) instead of a smooth continuous cloud. This is visible within both CC Editor and Descartes and also after the image is exported (see link). Could this be due to generating the point clouds as LAS files in context capture (perhaps there is a new processing algorithm that makes these tiny sections) or could it be with the latest version of Descartes/CCEditor the conversion to POD (along with its compression) is causing this compression/fracturing to occur? Please see link below for the problem. I am wondering if it would be wise to revert back to an older version of Descartes and try to attach the point clouds there and check the difference? Would love to know where these artifacts are coming from and at what stage of the process, thanks! PS This is a non-traditional application of this reality modeling software and we have successfully used earlier versions of Bentley software with a good deal of success. /resized-image/__size/1040x1957/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/343228/18_2D00_05_2D00_PC_2D00_2.jpg
