Forum Post: Merge command in Descartes gives inconsistent results

I am using the Merge command to save out small portions of a larger raster image. I have a large WMS raster attached to my dgn. In a separate dgn (Boxes.dgn), I have several square shapes with unique text names inside each square shape. Method A: I use the Merge command and set Area: View and I can save out multiple new image files automatically by selecting boxes.dgn as the Grid Definition file. The result is some of the image edges have an extra line of black pixels. Method B I use the Merge command and set Area: Block , use the cursor to define the area as a square block that matches one of the squares in Boxes.dgn, and set the Output type to Single File and save out a new image file. The resulting image doesn't have any extra black pixels. Note: The Resolution settings in the Merge dialog were the same in both methods. Shouldn't I be getting identical results from both methods? Regards, Ron
