There is a problem with Cut/Copy and Paste command in Bentley Descartes for MicroStation version 08.11.09.578 where you will get the “Invalid Region” message when using the Cut/Copy command for a large area. If you do a smaller area in the raster image it works. It has been resolved in later releases. To install the later release: • https://connect.bentley.com/ • Login • Scroll down and select Software Downloads under My Support • Language > English • Brand > Descartes • Bentley Descartes for MicroStation • All Downloads • Click gray arrow on the left side of the version of Bentley Descartes for MicroStation that you want to install. • Select Bentley Descartes for MicroStation version you want to install and the MicroStation Dependencies • Download • Uninstall MicroStation • Uninstall Bentley Descartes for MicroStation • Clean up MicroStation and Descartes installation folder o C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley o C:\ProgramData\Bentley • Install MicroStation • Install Bentley Descartes for MicroStation • Start > All Programs > Bentley > Bentley Descartes Platform Configuration • Mark the Power Platform products that will be allowed to use Descartes.
