The attached link may be of help to make sure you are running compatible versions of MicroStation and Bentley Descartes for MicroStation. Make sure you click on the gray arrow on the left side so you see the MicroStation dependencies for the version of Bentley Descartes for MicroStation. communities.bentley.com/.../24970.installation-compatibility-error-message-installing-bentley-Descartes If you are currently running MicroStation and Descartes and you are going to upgrade it is recommended that you uninstall Descartes and then MicroStation and clean up the files and folders where they were installed and then install MicroStation and Bentley Descartes for MicroStation.
